The writer features a cache memory for 4 Mega bytes which offers 12x write speeds for Blu-ray Disc media, 2x for BD-RE/-RE DL, 16x for DVD-R/+R, 6x for DVD-RW, 40x for CD-R and 24x for CD-RW.
